About Precedent

Precedent is a Wellington IT services company. We started Precedent because small and medium businesses deserve the same careful, well-engineered IT that large organisations take for granted, from people who explain things plainly and answer the phone.

Our team has spent over twenty years running IT in demanding environments, from print businesses and internet providers to banks, government and defence. That experience shapes how we look after every client: monitored, documented, patched, backed up, and designed so problems are caught early.

We support businesses across the Wellington region, including Wellington City, the Hutt Valley, Porirua, Kāpiti and Wairarapa.
